Erika Sawajiri and Takayuki Yamada did a fabulous job! They deeply portrayed their role, giving the characters a realistic vibe. This drama is not a "light" one but, as someone said in the comment section, it is very refreshing: it is like breathing a fresh nighty air. They happen to meet because of music and, together with their friends, they face the hardships of growing up: despite life's unfairness, they never lose faith in dreams and passion. On the other hand Koji, the boy she meets during her journey through music, seems introverted and a bit lost, but he is in fact very caring and his feelings are intense. When this movie started and I saw Rob Riggle in it, I thought, 'Oh geez, this movie isn't going to be very good because of him'. Bella Thorne, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Quinn Shephard, and Rob Riggle were all great together in this movie.
The story is about a teenage girl with the disease, Xeroderma Pigmentosum, which prevents her from going out into. Midnight Sun is probably the best romantic movie that I have seen in a long time. The film was directed by Scott Speer and written by Eric Kirsten, stars Bella Thorne, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Rob Riggle. The main character, Kaoru, is a girl who loves singing and never gives up, despite her illness and troubles: she has a very positive attitude towards life and others, she is enthusiastic and creative. Midnight Sun is a 2018 American romantic drama film based on the 2006 Japanese film A Song to the Sun. It has just become one of my favourite dramas of all time. The courage to fulfill dreams and to live life deeply This drama is so beautiful: if I had to describe it using only images, I would choose the sea, the night summer breeze, the moon and a guitar.
